Last night I endured Melbourne’s cold and rainy weather to catch the fireworks at Docklands. Every Friday night throughout July, there is a fireworks display to promote the area which has been attacked in recent times, ruled as a “soulless, dispiriting, windswept failure”. I, on the other hand, see Docklands as a photographers’ haven (or it could just be me). The depressing amount of people in and around the area (while no good for struggling retailers) provides a perfect photo opportunity. And if I ever do win the Tattslotto – fingers crossed – I would seriously think of buying an apartment there.
Which one is your favourite photo?
